Logistics Coordinator

Scope of Position:

Provide support for logistics to ensure the successful execution of Lifeshape projects, and work in a close relationship with Program Managers, Project Leaders, and Project Participants. This role directly serves our organizational purpose by providing support for Lifeshape projects.

Reports to: Associate Director of Strategic Services

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Coordinate and manage logistics for assigned projects. Communicate with Program Managers, Project Leaders, Project Participants and Partners on project specific needs. 

2. Manage and maintain accurate and timely records for project and participant information, follow-up with project participants to ensure the timely completion of all requirements.

3. Schedule pre and post project calls, participating on calls as needed.

4. Assist Project Leaders with securing appropriate materials for use on the projects. 

5. Monitor team travel, manage logistics for changes, and communicate updates to team. 

6. Assist with crisis and contingency processes to mitigate project risk.Coordinate with teams and their family members during emergencies and assist with logistical and insurance needs.


Requirements: 

1. An evangelical believer committed to Christian service consistent with our organizational purpose, mission, and beliefs who is actively involved in a Christian church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis.

2. Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in a business-related field.

3. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a detail-oriented, administrative role. Previous experience in event planning and international travel coordination preferred.

4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

5. Demonstrated ability to manage many details of multiple projects without overlooking important details.

6. Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

7. Ability to work independently and as a strong team player under time pressures without loss of poise, grace, or humor.

8. Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills.

9. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and remain calm in crises.

10. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work under limited supervision.
